Part 1. Choose an invention in science/technology that has had a significant impact on the world. You must use at least 3 different sources to cite evidence from. You are focusing on the following questions:
1. What is the history and background of your invention? (who invented it, has it been revised over the years?)
2. Explain the impact your invention had at that time.
3. How has it impacted the world today?


Part 2
1. Come up with your own invention. Add this at the end of your slide.
2. Explain what your invention would do and what is its purpose.
3. How could it help civilization?
4. Try to find some pictures that may show wat your invention would look like or what it is similar to. 
5. Be as specific as you can.

Bonus Activity: Try this experiment. Tell a friend a joke — and laugh out loud when you get to the funny part. Now tell another friend the same joke — but don’t laugh. Scientists say that people often laugh when they see someone else laughing. Do you think scientists are right about that? (If you need a joke, here’s our favorite: What’s orange and sounds like a parrot? (A carrot).)

We have discussed and seen examples of Newton's first law. Now it is time to show we understand. Read and complete the questions in red. Write your answers in blue.
