Welcome to Remote Learning with Ms. Johnson and Ms. Everett:

Greetings Parents/Guardians/Students:

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 2020-21 school year.  We are excited that we will have the opportunity to work with your child!  To ensure that this year gets off to a great start, we are sharing the following information:

  • On the second day of school, a Supply List along with Classroom Procedures & Expectations will be sent to your child's CPS email.  The very last page of the Classroom Procedures & Expectations document will contain a Signature Page.  Please read this document in its entirety with your child.  Sign, date and return a copy of the Signature Page to my email:  bmjohnson@cps.edu.

  • Students should log on a few minutes early in order that they will be ready for instruction at 8:30 a.m.  Please ensure that the student's workplace is comfortable for working, and there are minimal distractions.

  • Homework is a tool that provides the teacher with knowledge relative to a student's understanding of a previously taught skill.  In addition, homework teaches: the discipline of practice; time management skills; and provides a communication network.  Activities may be assigned in the form of daily activities or projects which have assigned due dates.  Please ensure that your child is participating in homework activities on a daily basis.

We look forward to meeting each of you virtually during Open House and as the school year progresses!

Sincerely,
